Any of my Drexel followers wanna get a pizza? I’m quite hungry.

So let’s just take a moment to appreciate this poster. Stress does suck. Alleviate it, friends. Hell, I’d even possibly like to help you. I could save your life.
Let me lay it out simply real quick before I pass out.
My school doesn’t have an acting major, be it for film or theatre. And realistically, New York or California is the place to go for that. But since California is a bit far from home right now, the only choice is New York. So I’m applying to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. It’s a school that’s been training actors for 127 years, right in the heart of Manhattan. It’s a huge step to take, but I’m ready for it. Plus, I’ll be saving a ton of money by switching out. My whole stay at the Academy is cheaper than one year here at Drexel. I, and my bank account, can very much live with this.
I wanna type more, but I shouldn’t. I need to get some sleep, and get working on all the juicy details another time. Just keep me in your thoughts as I go through this process.
3 new courses, 3 different topics.
The first is called “Our Vampires Our Selves” and is a writing intensive English course. It covers short stories, novels, television shows, and excerpts of movies that are based around vampires and the like.
The second is called “Tolkien from Lit to Film”. This is another English course, and it studies specifically the popular book from Tolkien, “The Hobbit”. The course is going to look at the relationship between the book and the movie. In addition, there will be screenings of fan-made parodies and the like.
The third course is called “A Game of Thrones”. As I’m sure you can guess by the title, this course studies the relationship and differences between the books and the HBO series. It only covers the relationship of the first season, though that’s probably because season 2 is only halfway through. This course is probably the one I’m most interested in, but that may only be because I cannot take it.
The first two of these three courses are offered to all students, with one section each, and a 25 student max. While being completely honest, I’d much rather take the Tolkien class than the vampire class, though I can probably take both. The third, however, is an Honors college only class. As I am not in the Honors college, I cannot take the class. But if any of you can, please do, and please share with me.
I’m fairly certain, if I remain here for the summer term, that I will be taking at least the Tolkien class, and probably the vampire class. Hopefully they don’t fill up terribly fast, as I don’t get to register until the 25th.
The one weekend I want to be on campus, to partake in campus events? I can’t be on campus. Or rather, I can’t stay on campus. But it’s pretty much the same thing.
Hope everyone has fun at the Snoop concert.
I just got a large portion of Chinese food, beef and broccoli to be exact, for 3.75. A portion big enough to somewhat fill me, for under 4 bucks!? And the food was delicious? It’s a beautiful day, everyone.
No, seriously, it’s a beautiful day. It’s the end of January and its 60 degrees out. Go for a walk or something, you won’t regret it.
